The CSIR-UGC NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is a prestigious national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/or Lectureship/Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities and colleges.
For the December 2024 cycle, the exam was held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various shifts on February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025. The subject-wise papers were scheduled as follows:
